Free rug collection and drop-off
To make things a little easier for you, a member of our team will collect your rug from your home or business and return it once it has been fully cleaned and restored. This applies to all clients in and around London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.
How does the rug cleaning service work?
After your first point of contact with us, we will be able to visit your premise and give you a specific quote for following a pre-clean survey. From there, we can arrange a time to collect your rug, before taking it on to our premises where the cleaning process can begin.
Once the rug is clean and dry, we will be in touch with you to inform you that we are ready to drop it off. Your rug will be returned back to your property, unpacked and repositioned in a room of your choice. If you’d prefer to unpack it yourself at a later date or leave it packed for storage, that’s fine. We will do whatever is most convenient for you.`
How do we clean your rugs?
The recommended method for cleaning natural fibre rugs is professional full immersion rug cleaning. The step by step rug cleaning process includes colour fastness testing, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, specialist stain/odour removal, rinsing, conditioning, drying, pile grooming, hand finishing and packing.
We also choose a specific cleaning method that suits the material of your particular rug. By doing so, we’re able to produce the absolute best results, without running the risk of damage, such as shrinkage or colour run.
How much does professional rug cleaning cost?
The cost of professional rug cleaning will vary based on a variety of factors, such as the size of the rug, the material of the rug and the cleaning process that is required.
We offer standard rug washing services, as well as restorative rug washing services (including specialist stain removal, odour removal, and decontamination for rugs affected by fire (smoke) and flood). As a family-run business established in 1989, we treat every precious hand-knotted rug entrusted to us as if it were our own.

No matter how careful you are with your rugs, accidents happen. From pet and child mess to red wine spills and tea stains – almost any stain can be removed. The same goes for odours.
Over the years, we’ve managed to remove every stain and odour you can think of, including coffee, tea, tar, nail varnish, chewing gum, smoke, pet urine discolouration, moth infestation and many more. We’ve seen them all, so please don’t be worried about calling us to help you.
Many of these stains can be complex to remove due to the nature of the variety of substances engrained in the rug fibres. Their removal takes patience and knowledge to determine the fibre type, dye stability and finishing agents and which treatments are best suited to gain the optimum results for your cherished Persian & Oriental rug.

Another great clean from Darren. We’ve had a problem with dog pee and he’s totally cleaned the stains and any smell. We tried with shop bought cleaner and whilst that cleared up the initial mess a thorough clean was needed to get rid of the odour.Would recommend Darren. Always punctual and reliable.
