Anti-Static Treatments

Customers and staff can often be subject to static shocks which are uncomfortable and can also present a real danger to sensitive electronic equipment which can be damaged by such static shocks.

Static build up is created by friction between carpet fibres and moving objects such as people’s shoes or electric field currents from equipment such as computers.

Our anti-static carpet treatment puts down a layer of aqueous ionic charge on the surface of the carpet to increase conductivity and eliminate the problem.

Fire Retardent Applications

Flame retardants save lives and property and protect the environment by helping to prevent fires from starting. Use of these additives (flame retardants) play a major role in fire prevention by increasing the resistance to ignition. Even if ignition does occur these flame retardants will act to delay the spread of flames – providing valuable extra time in the early stages when a fire can be extinguished or an escape can be made.
